Hey squashies, Aaron Fong here. Details for seniors' farewell as below:

Date: 28th December

Time: 1400 (Timing has been changed from 1100) 

Venue: Chris' house (behind Coronation Plaza): For the exact address, kindly sms your captains as I cannot reveal it here.

Optional items to bring: Any type of food/beverages, cards, mahjong set(s), entertainment devices, book, homework, racquets, balls, court shoes etc

Presents: There is no official gift exchange but if you like to buy a present or two for a senior(or me), please feel free to bring it along!

NJC Squash wishes all its members a Merry Christmas and a delightful 2010!!! :D

Hey guys, Aaron Fong here. Here's an update on the 6th Marigold Junior Squash Invitational 2009 that most of the A division people took part in, spanning a period of 23th-28th November.

It involved a lot of ball-bursting action, Marigold Powerberry Juice drinks, calls for "Let" and "stroke", lucky draws and yeps, you've guessed it (or maybe not..) trial of a range of Black Knight racquets, available for the first time ever in Singapore! But I digress.

After a week packed with anxiety and action, Carmen Yeo Jia Min, captain of the A division Girls' team, has done NJC Squash proud, clinching the 3rd placing in Girls Under-19 Novice Main Category. Her last match for this placing was one that left everyone clinging onto their seats. It was the only match that had 4 male referees. The first set was won by Carmen, before her opponent fought back to win the 2nd and 3rd sets, but Carmen fought back really hard in the last 2 decisive sets, to bag the 3rd position.

So this post is dedicated to her and congratulations to her for doing NJC proud!
